Meet Shali!
Shali was rescued by the manager of a car dealership. Several of Shali's siblings were killed when they climbed under the hood of cars to try to keep warm.
Shali is a happy, spunky little cat today. She is about four years old, semi-feral, but very close to the family members. We attempted an adoption to the family of an experienced rescuer, but they had to return her to us. She had refused to eat or drink at all and she stayed hidden all day long for the three days that they had her. When they returned her to us, she immediately ran to us for reassurance. She was reluctant to let us out of her sight and shadowed our every footstep for nearly a week after her return. She is now a happy, playful member of our household of rescues.
